Question 1

What is the difference between a Scenic and Reference storyboard?

Accepted Answer

Scenic storyboards use people-free landscapes, interiors, weather, and textures. Reference storyboards use uploaded photos to keep one person or a couple consistent across every scene. Reference mode is available on Pro and Studio plans.

Question 2

How does the storyboard workflow work?

Accepted Answer

Paste lyrics, choose style and format options, compare generated theme previews, review and edit the scene plan, then render. Planning is unlimited and a credit is used only after the complete storyboard renders successfully.

Question 3

Can I create a storyboard with a couple?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Reference mode, upload one photo showing both people or two separate portraits and select Couple. LyricScenes will keep both people present across the storyboard.

Question 4

What are Episode Series?

Accepted Answer

Episode Series turn a premise or lyrics into a connected multi-episode arc with narration or captions for every scene. Each fully rendered episode uses one Scenic or Reference credit.

Question 5

What is Carousel Text?

Accepted Answer

Carousel Text adds editable story text and optional calls to action over a completed storyboard for TikTok or Instagram. It is available on Pro and Studio through separate Carousel credit packs.

Question 6

Can I save lyrics for later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pro and Studio include a private Lyrics Library where songs can be organized by artist and loaded into a new storyboard without pasting them again.

Question 7

What is included with each plan?

Accepted Answer

Creator includes 25 monthly Scenic credits. Pro includes 60 Scenic and 8 Reference credits, while Studio includes 130 Scenic and 20 Reference credits. Every plan includes unlimited storyboard and Episode Series planning; Pro and Studio also unlock Reference mode, the Lyrics Library, and Carousel Text add-ons.

Question 8

What happens if a render fails?

Accepted Answer

Failed renders never use a credit. The system retries automatically, and you can retry any scene that did not complete.

Question 9

Do unused credits roll over to the next month?

Accepted Answer

No. Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period. One-time add-on credits do not expire monthly.

Question 10

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Changes are managed in billing settings through Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no partial refunds.

Question 11

Do I own what I generate? Can I use it commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You own the images and text outputs you generate and download, and you can use them commercially as long as your account is in good standing and your use is lawful.

Question 12

Am I responsible for the rights to the lyrics I paste in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You are solely responsible for having the rights or permission to use any lyrics you submit. We don't claim ownership of lyric text and never publish it.

Question 13

What image formats can I download, and are there watermarks?

Accepted Answer

Scenes download as PNGs in the aspect ratio you chose (9:16 or 16:9), individually or as a ZIP. There are no watermarks.

Question 14

How does Reference mode work?

Accepted Answer

Reference mode lets you upload photos of one person or a couple so the same subject or subjects appear across every scene. It is available on Pro and Studio and uses Reference credits.

Question 15

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

There is no free image trial, but storyboard and Episode Series planning are free and unlimited. Credits are used only after a complete render, and subscriptions can be canceled anytime.

Question 16

How do I get support?

Accepted Answer

Reach out through the contact page and we'll typically reply within one to two business days.
